Starting a weight loss challenge
I am taking Wellbutrin and i wanted to know if it causes weight loss or gain. I did lose some weight and at 55 my libido went through the roof. I heard the weightloss effect depends on the dose. Good luck with your weight loss and also for I commend you for being a care giver. :). Honestly, I feel that it is my duty to give out the information that I have. Thoses side effects were great:-) But the seisures caused me untold grief with the Motor Vehicle Department. This way of thinking is counter productive and dangerous in some cases. More and more is being written about the connection between Wellbutrin and seisures please do some in depth homework. When I read a post saying that someone tried bananas for the tingling and it worked - well, it just makes me stupidly happy. It caused me to have two about a year apart. When I was dx with Migraines I was taking a sub-lingual pill called Maxalt (this does work) you have to take one tablet and place it under your tongue as you feel a migraine coming on. I only started losing a little weight at 75 mg. In their TV ads for Wellbutrin the manufacture now mentions seisures as one of the main side effects. I believe the higher the dose the more likely the seisure and as far as I know nothing such as too much coffee contributes. :). But I wish the manufacture would just change the taste of the pill, its fast dissolve and strong peppermint taste.
